The flair is added on to the bottom panel in the CX-25 and does not change the wet surface or the useful volume in the hull. I don't see that it would be different in a smaller version. Spok you are right and I have noticed that a lot of schools have stretched there curriculumns out to 5 yrs. I only handled 2 1/2 years aero/marine before switching to business. Almost anything can be calculated. The problem is there are alot of veriables. Weight, wind, current, CG, ect.
