System Three Quik Fair over System Three Primer
I've primed the top of my boat and found a few small spots I'd like to fair a little more. Normally, I'd sand the primer prior to putting any fairing over it but was wondering if I can just add the System Three Quik Fair over the System Three Primer since we can spray topcoat over the system three p...

Re: Steve's FS18
Thanks Jeff and FallGuy! some more updates... This is in Compartment A. Power for the trolling motor, voltage meter, and the 12v plug with room for others in the future if needed. I added some non-skid in the epoxy when I put down the fiberglass thinking this will keep things from sliding around so ...

Re: Steve's FS18
Time for some updates. I've been working on it as I can. We got a lot done over the Thanksgiving weekend but hardly anything around Christmas. Just too much going on. Everything is primed and I'm waiting on some decent warmer weather so I can paint it with the Awlgrip paint. Here's some pics of the ...

Re: FS18 Straight Sheer, Round Chine
I love using a gallon zip lock back for thickened epoxy. That's the only way I do it. It's like welding at that point. Just lay a nice bead. But, you have to work quickly and plan ahead to get everything ready before you mix.

Yep, almost done but can't work on it today. Too many other things that need my attention. Grandad is well. We're going to work on it again tomorrow afternoon.

Re: Steve's FS18
Looking great!! So close to being complete. Thanks man! I only have the front deck to glue down left. I got my trolling motor quick release Monday and waited to see how I wanted to mount it on the front before I glued anything up front. Once it's down, I'll get my hatches completed. BTW, I FAILED i...
