ob17 - motorwell soles and top of station E

Camber: I think he is talking about the top of the motorwell bulkhead. The dimension is there but I can´t tell you where before Monday: I am not at the office.
For the bottom camber: we show it if necessary.
I remember discussing this on the old message board. Try a search.
For the sole, it...

Could it be that you measure from a plywood sheet that is not standard size?
As we say in the BOM, we use standard 122 x 244 cm plywood sheets. I know that some plywood sheets in Europe are 255 cm long.
Check that please.
If that´s the case, draw a line at 244 cm, where we show the edge of ...

comparison of C-12 and AR-15

You will have to wait for the plans to be posted at the web site, probably next week.
It will not be a difficult boat but because of all that sail area, the C12 will be much easier.
You could always learn with only the main sail and maybe a reef.
More next week.

I don´t know more than you about that plywood excpet that I spoke about with the owner of WorldPanel some months ago.
Without any testing, I don´t want to take chances.
The cabin sides and roof could made from canvas, that´s why I approve it for that use.
One day, I´ll drive down to World P...

What does Jeff from WorldPanel says? He has a note at his web site about that.
I would use it for cabin and roof, never for the hull.

Amt of epoxy to be used?bottom OD18

This is how we calculate for our kits, BOM and weights:
for each boat, during the design, we must calculate weigths, areas etc. anyway.
That data, extracted from CAD, is in a spreadsheet.
That spreadsheet is quite elaborate: at least 6 pages for a small boat!
We calculate how much resin ...

Who said that plagiarism is the highest form of flattery?
Anyway, since I myself took the idea of the PK78 from a French design, I should not complain.
Ten years ago, I saw pictures of a very nice little pram in a French magazine and jumped at the computer to sketch the thing in Prolines. It b...

OK, I see it now.
As designed, the stringers fit in notches in the clamping board.
That means in the two layers inside, not the last transom layer.
This is a method we used for years but it is a little more difficult to assemble than with stringers flush with the clamping board.
To mak...

It should work the way it is. You may go a little slower but no big deal.
