What's the temp where you're applying the fairing mix and are you using slow / medium? It helps to know the brand as well. If you're using slow enough epoxy mix you can probably work small batches, adding filler until you're happy with it.

Be careful lest it become self-aware and start leaving the fridge open... Looks well thought-out.

Stringers, bow-section cut out showing offset / overlap. They're held together here so I can even them out somewhat. Note the voids here looking like little dark lines. Noles - just curious what'd you use for the bottom panel material-wise?

To go much shallower draft you'll need a lift fan and skirt for some hovercraft action.
