I totally agree with Cape Man lower to mid 50's. The finished hull as it leaves the dock will weigh less than a fiberglass hull. You have a very nice boat there sir.

Yes it has been done. Keep it light and not to tall a foot to 16". Do a search of XF20's and you should find ones that have had their consoles raised. It has only been a couple.

I would like to use the polyester fabric rather than fiberglass because of the ease of application and draping capabilities of polyester. Yes any way you can round over the edges will work and keep the aluminum from destroying the rollers. Tom
