Re: House renovation
Absolutely amazing but not a surprise based on the boats you've built or taken on. Craftsmanship like you have is an art form!!

Re: Cold climate epoxy users please HELP!
Yes, lots and lots of white vinegar and acetone and a good scraper.....ask me how I know...
Obviously this is not your fault since the supplier messed up. You should ask when they're coming over to help wipe it all off

Re: House build
Out of curiosity did the lumber get dried at all? I watch a lot of off-grid youtube channels, always fun to watch. 8/12 pitch is the steepest I'm willing to get on anymore. The house we sold in KS was closer to 10/12 and one area was more like 12/12. Did not like getting up there anymore on my own. ...

Re: CK17 build thread
Did you put a little thickened epoxy between the panels when you butted the splices together? That would have been just before putting the fiberglass on.

Re: Which is the best way to epoxy glue but or scarf joints
I have used nothing but wood flour for making thickened glue. Once thoroughly mixed with epoxy they are no longer hydroscopic, and best of all it is very inexpensive thickener. I also now use it exclusively for filets and fillers. It SUCKS as a fairing compound as it is very hard to sand! Same here...
