Re: 2015 Southeast Builders Meet - Homosassa, FL Oct. 2-4, 2

Just now saw the boat meet postings. I'll do my best to get there!! That's the 1st weekend of our fall break and was planning on heading south for some fishing anyway... Works great for me. Prefer some place with cabins too, because I won't have room for the extra camping gear. 8)

Re: Paint Colors Real World Comparison

I used tint made for acrylic latex house paint, got it from Lowes and mixed it myself.
I did the same thing too. I got white kiwi grip and went to Lowe's and looked at some light grey paint chips and they mixed. No problems.

Re: Phantom 16/18 Power Requirements

John, I'm running a PH18 with a 90 hp Suzuki 4 stroke and a stainless steel 19"( or maybe 18 can't remember) pitch prop. I top out around 40 mph. It cruises real nice in the upper 20's to low 30's. I know it's not a 60. But hope this gives some perspective. I absolutely love the PH18 8) Andrew

Re: willg's PH18

Thanks Will. I was thinking the same thing as to where to paint the graphite. Thanks for the heads up on the "white graphite". I remembered something about that but forgot where. I'll definitely check that out. As for rub rail, I used the Tessilmare rub rail kits I got off Jamestown Distri...

Re: Phantom 18 Repairs

I finally got the trailer the day after Christmas. It took a little longer because of some weather delays concerning delivery from the manufacturer. I bought (or I should say the insurance company) a boat stand system from Jamestown and it worked like a charm. I had to place the aft boat stands a li...

Re: willg's PH18

Looks great!! I remember when I primed the hull... couldn't keep the smile off my face.. it looked like a real boat (and I knew the fairing was about done, at least on the bottom  ) Are you going to graphite to the spray rails in bow area or leave some area for paint? I'm considering going back...

make sure you ask them to also cover vehicle depreciation b/c of the accident.
Thanks Will, I'll do that.
