Reverse chine aft of widest point?
I'm building a fs14 to replace our gf14 on the lake, the engine is a remote tiller tohatsu 18 and I'm trying to figure out how to make the spray rail/ reverse chine... I also have plans for.. And plans to build a gv15 with a 70 horse 2 stroke as a fun/ski boar for next year... So the question answer...

Well here goes http://www.gaboats.com/boats/ .. And I agree they look and are super delicate.. And very much like the requested specs.. Light and disposable ;-). I've built a gv14 and its a pretty light boat even if its quite large... If one were to do it and really be fanatic about the weight .. I'...

The lightest construction method i know of is skin on frame.. And if ist not a plannning hull you solid be just fine.. If you strip a cedar or pine plank and build it from that and cover in aircraft type fabric and paint it will weigh in well below 80 lbs ... Oops I accidentally posted a website for...

so it will be somewhat slower than a GV15 that should be in the 35 mph area with my best guestimate no? also since its primary use is waterskiing and the like im thinking the wake of the GV15 will be more pleasant than the 12 deg... and am i wrong in asuming the GV15 hull will plane faster with the ...

Ok, im about to tackle replacing the 14 foot runabout i made seats for last winter.. I was going to build a GV15 after having bought way to many plans to study (gv16, ph16, ob17 and last FS14) the FS14 is happening anyway but i got a really good deal on a project that i have since regretted buying ....

often times the localized rash is not an allergy as such in the sense its not a systemic reaction, but a local irritation.. this can be avoided by not comming in contact with the substance. you can buy longer gloves and as stated get some that are none powdered, non latex (they last longer too) i ge...

I Modified my GF14 with a second inside lamination of divinycell to reinforce the bottom andwhile i live the added stiffness it also ads weight im sure stringers and a sole in the GF16 will reinforce it enough to omit the seat.. but you would need to ask the designer... am sure that the sole would h...

what dimensions for the spray rail? 3 or 4 laminations of 30 mm wide 6mm ply like the rubrail? or should i just do 2 and build the rest like a reverse chine with a good filler when i'm faring the underside of the boat
