wow, that method is almost intuitively obvious, as all good ideas are.. ill copy that one too :wink: with regards to the transom my plan is the stringers glass teh stringers prior to instalation and extend them upwars allong the transom like hockey sticks and close the resulting box, so there will b...

why not use one of the posted bulkhead fittings, and remove (cut) the barbed fitting on one end.. it should be a 10 min job, and fi you are super picky about the looks, do it in a lathe ?

the ob17 looks very very interesting also.... and a bit more safe with kids onboard compared to a gv15 with a 70 hp which should hit 45-50 miles with the right prop (and since its not a constant deadrise "monohydron" design it might get alittle scary at that speed)... And since im not tryi...
