Re: Little Hickman Sea Sled
Fred, Very sorry to hear about your dad. I lost my dad at the end of 2007 and not a day goes by that I miss him. As Larry said, it sounds like all of our fathers were a lot alike. That's probably why this site has so many good folks on it. We were all brought up right, by good parents. Can't say the...

Re: New XF20 passenger or weight ratings!!!!!!
Glad no one was hurt. Amazing how the hull panels held the plastic boat up. I'm amazed at how strong my boat is each time I'm out in it. In response to Jacques comments, there should not be any issues with putting runners on the bottom of an XF-20. I put them on my GF-16T for two reasons. One, to gi...

Re: OD 16 bimini top
Tom, The only issue with folding them forward is if you're underway. I have one on my production flats boat and folded it forward one day. Not thinking, I got up on plane and it didn't take long before the top was coming up and over the console. It did not break anything, but the movement was quite ...

Re: "FIRST LIGHT"-My (Daddy's) Boat
Robbie,
I've been off the board for quite a while and am trying to catch up. Glad to see you're still plugging away. Hope to see some pics some time soon.

Re: Don's PH 18 w/tunnel
Don, I've been absent from the board for a while and just dropped in to start getting caught up. I couldn't help but start on your thread since you're adding a tunnel to the PH. I suggest you take a look at my thread on my GF-16 that I put a tunnel in to get some ideas, http://forums.bateau2.com/vie...

I have tested it and am happy with the redo. As I alluded to in my last post, life has gotten in the way of boat building. The last 13 months has brought me twins, the deaths of two very close family members, another hurricane direct hit, and all the normal responsibilities of life. Okay, off my soa...

If you have any specific questions for me, feel free to email me at timoub007 (at) netzero (dot) net. I don't seem to have as much free time to spend on the forum as I used t...
