I wouldn't scale that boat. It's not an easy project. I suggest that you draw outlines on concrete with chalk. Use the scale drawings. Don't forget to then consider build space or the like. What about a larger TX18, maybe the HS18 scaled up a bit to 22-24' using my current suzuki 140?

It sounds like that guy knows what he is talking about but much depends on personal opinion. Usable amount of deck space depends on your own needs, and 60gal is a lot more fuel than I'll ever be using. You can probably splash rail if it isn't already in the plan vs Carolina flare for drying out the ride. As far as carolina style i was mentioning this is it..
