od 18 step chine
Strange: when it was available, many complained about it, now that we removed it, someone wants it . . .
You can build a step chine from your plans: mark the outline of bottom panel on the sole panel, join the two with a straight little panel.
All the dimensions are there but I would not bothe...

25´ lobster boat
No, very different styling. A lobster boat is a more traditional shape, hull and superstructure.
I saw a Denali at a boat show yesterday: after 10 years, the only thing they changed from my design is a lifting strake.
It´s a great hull but it requires more power and also, is not as polyvalent...

12-13 foot small speedboat
I´ll design one the day liability lawyers dissapear from the face of the earth . . .
I don´t understand how our competitors dare to sell those plans, I admire their courage.
Some day, some idiot is going to kill himself in such a boat and his family will sue the designer.
It´s sad to have t...

In reference to the R550 thread, attached are some sketches of the hull of the new boat.
It looks like our R550 but it has less rocker and the bottom panel is wider.
I was very, very tempted to design something in the style of the NZ Javelin shown at:
http://www.javelins.org/Technical/virtu...

Let´s stop teasing the person who asked the question but, if this is exterior Lauan, 5 ply, it could be perfect for some of our small boats.
Is it exterior?
Which boat are we talking about?
