Yes the hull has preformed top and sides and is a foot or so forward. I removed the aluminum trim and lifted the top shell of the boat off and slide it foreword to gain access to the transom. MadRus Your not being a jerk, I appreciate all the feedback. I would perfer to do it right and NOT have the motor rip off the transom. Guess I am going to be tearing out the foam and gettign some Wood Flour. After redoing the "edge" do I need som sort of Angle support or cut a triangle out...

Foam Weak Link
I figured that might be an issue, it is just filling in mionor gaps its not really structural.
