It's really more of a peace of mind sort of thing. But there's tons of log booms that go through the area by tug, so deadheads are a fairly common sight/concern boating. Nice to know there's a little more impact resistance.

Ah that would make sense, there isn't much centerline real estate now that the sole is on and the area under is all foamed up. The other possible solution would be to have two tanks with a selector valve joining the lines, more like a Piper style aircraft, and just switch between the tanks as needed...

At the boat shop I work at in the summer, we use steel tripod style stands that we can raise and lower just by turning a collar on the stand while it's loaded. Hello all, now that everything's warming up again and I've gotten all my planning done (windows etc), would it be acceptable to use 6oz woven tape in two layers to attach the inner hull frames/stations? The stringers are all biax, and it would be very nice to work with regular old tape again!

Ok, I was just thinking to avoid drilling the acrylic/ water proofing, but I suppose being able to remove th windows is probably better.
