A 9.9 would be good I'd say, but Evan would know best.

With just 2 people, unless you're both really, really heavy, 9.9 will be plenty.

Sorry for the lack of build pictures but I was sure during construction I was doing everything wrong. It all worked out in the end. I got the state inspection last week and will be getting hull numbers by mail.

I built it pretty heavy using 12oz biAx below the waterline inside and outside and 6 oz above the waterline. I started with a new 9.9 Suzuki which is no enough hp. Fortunately the 9.9 zuke is easily converted to a 20hp with a few hundred dollars in off the shelf parts.
