Did you add a step to the hull bottom that I missed? Maybe it's a screed that you use to fair the hull bottom, in the last boat pic?

Sprayed the bottom with interlux vc performance epoxy. Marked the water line with with a lazer. Currently wet sanding to 600. Want to spray with paint but the alexseal rep strong encouraged me not to as there is a chance for blistering and the vc should be less friction. Current boat has it and it has be just fine. The wet sanding sucks and the luster is......lack luster

Looks good DT. I used the same epoxy on the bottom of my 170 (couple coats) and wet sand it down to 1200 grit - came out very shiny.

Of course the bottom on yours is a lot bigger even if you're only doing to the waterline.

So, do any of these come back and blister on you after all the work?

My little 69 Whaler was skinned with 6 oz and that damn thing blistered on me now...would you cut them all out? I have not topcoated; just primer.
My boat build is here -------->

I have not had that happen fortunately. I ground all gelcoat off then did two skins on this hull as well as the 28 and my 17 mako. No issues. Is it the glass or the paint system?
