New seats installed. Flipped and sanded outside with 420 grit. Painting with EMC clear this afternoon.

I love EMC Quantum 99. One coat, thinned 33% and just rolled with a 4 inch foam roller. The whole thing took about 8 ounces! Can't wait to get her out in the sun.

I will say I spent more time sanding and preparing the surface than ever before and it shows.

That’s almost too pretty to use.

Almost. Not because it’s not pretty enough to be art but because that needs to be seen. On the water.
My already completed 'Lil Bit'. A Martens Goosen V12 set up to sail me to the fishing holes.

Thinking about a bay trip Thursday or Friday. Give the paint a few days to really harden. Maybe break out the sail and lee boards...

I like to think of myself as a boat-builder. I've built 3, about to start building another....and then some a-hole posts a picture like this.
I'm gonna just go back in my garage and play with some sawdust now.

All joking aside, absolutely stunning work.

Came home early and cleaned under the house, including scrubbing and rinsing the screens. Took 6 hours but VERY satisfying to get it all squared away. Tomorrow I will start sanding the Dory. Thanks to all for the compliments. She does look good 8)
