Re: FS14: jaydillyo's first build
I can tell yall ain't no country boys That's a fence post driver, and I've spent way too much time on one. Got one just like it, sometimes wish I didn't. I'm sure it would make a good door breacher too, but I've never used it for that
Completed GF12 X 2, GF16, OD18, FS18, GF5, GF18, CL6

Jay, I am watching your build with great anticipation, as I am contemplating the same plans. I'm thinking more of a 25h four stroke, and a possible throttle/stick steering setup in the center of the mid seat. I make furniture as a hobby, but I am a novice with glass work, so it will be a learning experience. PLEASE post beacoup photos! Thanks and God Bless.

Sorry for the continued hijack your build thread.
I have two brothers in Blue, one in Red. All said fill that post driver with cement and you got a decent door breaching tool.

My son-in-law's family operate a fencing business. He's a professional operator of that device. I've never been able to find one that fits my hands properly.

Re: FS14: jaydillyo's first build
I've got good news and bad news.
The bad news is that I haven't started my FS14 build yet. The good news is that it starts this Sunday!
The kayak I built for my mother isn't quite finished, but I ran out of time and had to bring it to Michigan when I went home to visit. All there is left to do on the kayak is 4 more coats of varnish, and to install the seat and accessories. So, it's basically done. I'll post a picture of the kayak soon.
This means my garage is empty and ready for another build to start. I am so far behind schedule on this project (and all of my other projects as well) it isn't even funny. Oh well, that's life. Hopefully I'll be late for my funeral too.

Re: FS14: jaydillyo's first build
I finally cut out some pieces yesterday! I'm so far behind schedule now that there basically is no schedule. Oh well. I'm going to take my time and do what I can when I can. If I stop worrying about getting it done quickly, I should spend more time thinking about doing a good job.

Re: FS14: jaydillyo's first build
The best schedule is no schedule , I'm several years in on my build ( I planned on having it done in a year ) I figure It'll get done when it gets done.
Good to see a new build starting up, and post some pics
