Beautiful creature for sure :D With the exception of that one large rainbow every other trout I've ever caught was smaller than 21 inches. The "usual" rainbow that I being home tends to be 18-20 inches.

One day I'll get down there and talk some of you guys into teaching me to catch those large saltwater critters 8)

it was the first fish of the weekend. I told my buddy..."ok, I can go home. Been a great trip!"

Much more luck than skill, me thinks.

Well.

went to go splash this boat. ran the borrowed motor at home in a water filled garbage can with no problems ... at first.

engaged the forward gear and the motor stopped peeing and got rather warm rather quickly. shut er down and went to bed. Drove to the lake for an "on the trailer test" at the ramp hoping time would fix things. Still no peeing.

took off the screen for the water intake on the lower unit and was met with about 100 pieces of a dry rotted rubber impeller. :x this is why a motor that is run frequently does better than one in storage for a year! off to the parts store.
