Only two, but Jacques can be proud of both.

Lee, that's great news that you're seriously considering putting the finishing touches on the GBBB. :D
Currently building Jacques Mertens ST21 "Skinnydip". Boating adventures: Splash testing and using 'Skinnydip, as a basis of further building refinement; Adams 44’ sailing sloop "Great Sandy" (cruising and maintaining); Iain Oughtred Feather Pram "Mini Dip" (building); Jacques Mertens R13 "Wood Duck" (built and due for maintenance).

Thanks Michael, I don't have any excuse not to - thanks to Covid-19.

Things went a bit crazy for me in 2019. I found myself on an aeroplane to somewhere at least twice a week for much of the year.
Corona virus has put a stop to that - my diary is pretty clear from now until at least September.

I have a big fishing trip planned for November, so between finishing the FBBB and planning for that, I will keep myself occupied.

Some good to come out of Covid-19!

Post by BarraMan »

I 'splashed' my boat 4 yrs ago - with only epoxy primer on the decks and cockpit. Since then, whenever I think I will finish it - we go fishing!

So when Covid-19 struck, I took the opportunity to put the boat/trailer up on hard stand and finish it.

SeaDek is going down on the decks and Kiwigrip on the cockpit floor.

Here's a sample - hatch lids finished with SeaDek!

Yes, it will be interesting to see how it goes with the red dirt in the Northern Territory, where we are fishing in November.
