Hi Gary,
Awright !! Finally the time has come. You did a great job with the boat, the lettering, the green, everything. Post pics of launch and on the water too !

Re: Gary's GF18
Congratulations! Looks great!
Re: Gary's GF18
Thanks all.
Looks like its boots or barefoot.
I originally set the water line at 3" and after doing some math I raised it to 4".
Still not enough. I went with a 75hp, so with the extra weight the boat draws down 4.5" and I'm about 1/2" shy of the scupper holes. If you stand in the center of the boat and pass gas its wet feet.
All good, the drain plugs will get a workout.
If I had to do it again the drains would be in the sole near the center of the boat.
Also wet lockers, Dry Storage is going to be a major pain in the ass. I'll figure something out.

Re: Gary's GF18
Very nice looking boat Congratulations on the launch, she sure looks fine on the water.
Most of the guys on here will tell you about their builds ..."if I had it to do over again"
We tend to be own worst critics...

Re: Gary's GF18
Mounted the rod holders on the back frame and bought a large cooler to use as a seat.
Used the boat this weekend to see the Blue Angels at the Jones Beach air show.
Still debating if I should mount the trolling rod holders into the center console or mount them into the rear storage locker.
Only reached for the trim/tilt button on the left side a dozen or so times.
