Glued down the rear platform. I will be covering the entire surface with 50" 4oz woven.
I'm not sure if I can skip the taping part although I suspect the answer is NO.

Okay the answer is NO. Should I use 10oz biax or can I use the 4 oz woven?

The plans call for 4oz on the front casting platform. I think I might need the heavier tape becuase of the engine load.

The heavier tape sure wont hurt, except when it comes to fairing it.

Thx mike. I have plenty of fairing to do so a little more wont be a big deal.
If I can get away with 4" that would be my preference. Easier to wet out and fair.
I will repost this in the help section.

Thx

Put the 2nd coat of pigmented epoxy in the 2 bow compartments.

Taped the all the edges on the stern platform.

Will try to mount the fuel tanks hoses and vents and finish the decking on the bow by the end of the week.

Yep! That's alot of hatches! My opinion, Too many. You could get by with two less.

After marinating overnight I like the fact that I have multiple access to the storage compartment however I would have done it a little differently. I would leave the hatch behind the motor well and put the 2 hatches on the sides into the face of the frame.
I think that would have looked a little nicer.

I find myself saying next boat a lot.

Why next boat and not close the two holes and make it the way you really want, if I may ask?

Juggling a business, young children, my wife, life and an october 31st self imposed deadline my mantra is don't look back.

Besides it doesn't bug me to the point that its worth the extra work.
