I don't think that transom is mounted correctly- bottom of transom should line up with bottom of stringers. Looking good, though, nice and neat work.

Transom should be positioned against the angled cut of the stringback. Stringers butt against the transom flush with the bottom. The actual transom angle is controlled by 2 pieces (motor well sides) that run fore-aft between the transom and front of the motor well bulkhead. Take a careful look at the build notes and you'll see what we mean.

I don't have the transom mounted yet. I just have it sitting up there to keep it out of the way. Garage is getting a little cramped! Don't worry.. I'm not going to deviate from the original design.

Haven't cut the motorwell sides.

I do appreciate all the replies. I can be absentminded sometimes so the replies help.

I'm sure the garage will get worse. Once I get to the sanding part dust will be everywhere... not sure I can handle everything dusty. ..

I have a question. I measured out the bottom panel and towards to bow end it seems to dip in a little. I verified all my measurements several times. Does this look correct?

What is the offset (dimension) for that point?

Absolutely. That will insure that both sides are identical, and both bottom panels. I always stack duplicate parts and cut as one. This way you only have to mark the layout lines on one panel also.

Here is a picture of the panel drawing.
It does not look exactly like the plans because I rebuilt it to check.
Everything matches what you have.
As you can see, it is fair.
Could it be that you use additive dimensions like 1-1/2 PLUS 16-3/4?
That is not correct.
All dimensions are taken from the same baseline.
Using the same points, you first measure 1-1/2 form the edge of the plywood, mark the point and then measure 16-3/4 again form the edge of the plywood and mark the point.
Check your measurements and if necessary, fair the line. Fairness first.
