Jaysen, have attempted to send PM response to your last PM. Not sure if I've succeeded.
Currently building Jacques Mertens ST21 "Skinnydip". Boating adventures: Splash testing and using 'Skinnydip, as a basis of further building refinement; Adams 44’ sailing sloop "Great Sandy" (cruising and maintaining); Iain Oughtred Feather Pram "Mini Dip" (building); Jacques Mertens R13 "Wood Duck" (built and due for maintenance).

Just incredible value!
Fellow BBC builders, I encourage you to invest $5 on an entry ticket to the Worldwide Classic Boat Show. Google it.
Buy a $5 entry ticket upfront, or else you will crash and burn! Find Get A Ticket and do it.
The front end of the site is clunky. Be patient and buy a $5 ticket. It's worth it!
High quality boat porn, wonderful presentations, and an illuminating window into how our modern wood construction techniques are making significant inroads into classical wooden boat building territory. And don't forget to check out Skinnydip at the show. She's proof positive that in the eyes of an international jury our method of modern composite wood construction can put our boats in the same class as all time classic wooden boats.

Okay! You shamed me in! Just don't be mad when I submit Clara and she wins something.
I looked at half a dozen including 3 near me and Skinny Dip. You are right...nice boat porn, and everything from a Dingy to a yacht. Good to see the international interest in building, restoring, and using boats. I'll get my $5 worth of entertainment for sure.

I actually thought the system was decent. Fill in one form, click submit, done. Much easier than signing up for Amazon, netflix or hello fresh.
And the boats there are amazing. Fuzz and I may look at our creations affectionately but these boats are works of art.

Damn you Glossie! I trusted you and bought a ticket and now I have been sleep deprived for several days. And I fear this will remain this way for another week

Cape man, Jaysen and Fuzz, glad you agree that investing $5 to enter the information-rich Worldwide Classic Boat Show is money well spent. I spent the first few days devouring the information on each and every boat in the show. Wonderful. Then I stepped back, and started tracking what else was happening on the show. That's when I started consuming the daily events/forums, available on replay. Distilled wisdom from boating greats for $5.
Fellow BBC boat builders, please do yourself a favour, and at least catch Tom Cunliffe's inspirational presentation and illuminating Q&A sequel. This is boating gold.
