Panel number three down. This one was difficult to fit around the tubes with the minimum of space as the tubes all come out at an angle to relieve stress on the steering and cable looms that will be running through them.
Test fit panel number four, which went in almost perfectly.
My supervisor, making sure I don't slack.
The horrible stain on the sole that wont go away.
I have cleaned this up with acetone so its not as bad as it looks. Its either resin or hardener, cant remember which. Its not greasy and so following all your advise and using it.
That's it, the last panel bonded down. Waiting for it to cure and on with the preparation for taping and glassing.

It is not possible for a boat that is being worked on to be that clean

Why the concern about the stain?

I missed the original discussion on the stain, but isn't there concern that it will interfere with the cure of epoxy put on top if it is either resin or hardener?
Re: OD18 - NH
That makes sense. I've avoided using oil based stains on stuff I plan to epoxy for the same reason.OneWayTraffic wrote: ↑Wed Apr 01, 2020 5:14 pm I missed the original discussion on the stain, but isn't there concern that it will interfere with the cure of epoxy put on top if it is either resin or hardener?

If it were mine I'd set a router to a really shallow depth and route it out.
