Thanks guys!
I have been busy working on a lifetime dream of having a clay tennis court outside my back door.
Scratch that off my bucket list...

How big of fish can you catch in that net
Dang nice looking court! How will the upkeep be compared to a hard court?

Re: FS-18 - "Bare Bones"
Good question.
The court is nourished with an Australian made hydro-grid underground watering system. Fully automatic, no maintenance. The hydro-mix clay is set on a bed of crushed granite and isolated from the subsoil with a liner similar to an above ground pool. No weeds.
About the only maintenance required prior to playing is a 10 minute sweep and line brushing. The lines are fiberglass tape nailed in with 3” aluminum spikes.
Every two years, a ton or so of Hartru clay will need to be added. That’s about it...

Very cool Richard. I never played on clay before, but I bet it would help me. I mean, I may be old, but I'm slow

Re: FS-18 - "Bare Bones"
A good buddy who I played a lot of tennis with in our youth had a great line. After giving it a try again not long ago he said "the arm still knows how but the feet can't get there any more"
