Neat bleach, or diluted?
Currently building Jacques Mertens ST21 "Skinnydip". Boating adventures: Splash testing and using 'Skinnydip, as a basis of further building refinement; Adams 44’ sailing sloop "Great Sandy" (cruising and maintaining); Iain Oughtred Feather Pram "Mini Dip" (building); Jacques Mertens R13 "Wood Duck" (built and due for maintenance).

Sorry, I left out important details.
The bleach is diluted 50/50 with water.
I prefer Chlorox outdoor cleaning bleach, it has a little bit of soap added.
The trick is to give the deck a bleach bath and let it sit in the sun for a few minutes before rinsing.
It’s also important to let kiwigrip totally cure before torturing it with bleach, petroleum, fish guts and dirt.
I’m not going to claim to know exactly how long, but 4 weeks should do the trick. It’s pretty tender until it fully cures.
I installed kiwigrip on my son’s GF12 and on my XF20. Both held up well...

That's turned out so well- looks slick like a factory boat but built so much better! Nice attention to detail, too. 8)

I think the real hint here is letting the Kiwigrip cure for 4 weeks in warm weather before using the boat. I have been less than impressed with my kiwigrip but the problem could be it was not fully cured before I started using the boat.

I see you got the SLT6.

They do have some adjustment, I would sometimes leave the pin in, when not needing the extra bow down help. Also, had lighter springs actuators sent to me. Put a wire tie around the pin and actuator so it doesn't pop out...

I did have some problems with hard turns with them in full mode! Let me know.

For you that means setting the boat on fire to get the temp high enough to cure.
My already completed 'Lil Bit'. A Martens Goosen V12 set up to sail me to the fishing holes.
Currently working on making a Helms 24 our coastal cruiser.

I appreciate the nice compliments Hank. 8)

Bob, I’ll let you know how the spring loaded trim tabs work. Kinda curious myself.

We rigged some more today.
Mounted the hatches, the aforementioned tee nuts worked as slick as owl poop. Need to post a picture, it’s amazing how tight you can crank down the bolts. Figured I would mount the latches, lifting rings, etc before removing and painting the hatches.
