Thanks Michael, Jeff, Ilker, Craig and Tom. :D
5200hundered, that’s a new word, the jackplate to the transom today. Mostly because the lower bolts will be under water nearly all the time.
Got a stainless ratchet strap for the battery, push pole mounts, and the rigging tube for the motor coming.
My motor and prop guy is working on a new prop and he is tuning up the Mercury motor.
Hauled out the old man today (Pursuit) for some serious motor service.
Tinkered a little on the old XF today.
Tomorrow will be my last day of serious work in 2018.
Plan to slow down and enjoy life a little more for the next month...
Richard
Completed boats...XF20 "Red Alert", Aripeka Angler's Strip Canoe, FS18 “Bare Bones”, GF12
Currently building...PY12 Kayak

What I thought them Yamaha’s never needed work, they just serviced themselves

Be very careful taking that much time off..........you might decide you like it. You might even end up like me and learn you are better at retirement than anything else you have ever done

Getting close.

Got the hatches painted, on and coated with kiwigrip.

Push pole on, jack plate wired up.

Got a nice stainless steel battery tie down installed.

Picking up the tuned up Mercury tomorrow.

Still have a few thing to do before the splash.

Today’s pics...

Stainless steel hatch hinge tee nuts for anyone interested.

They will not pullout like wood screws do...

Very nice Richard, she's looking pretty as.

Is the interior a slightly darker colour than the exterior?
