Where did you get the t-nuts? I've only seen the ones that have the base cut at 3-4 locations and bent up 90 degrees into points to grab into the base material.

Try McMaster Carr. Search for weld nuts. They have lots of variety. some of the obround shaped ones might even do better than the round.

Thank you Doug, Jordy, Craig and David. :D

GB, keen eye. The bilge is EZ bilge dark gray, Pettit brand if I remember correctly.

The tee nuts I bought on amazon.

I can’t stress how great they work. Pic of the vendor page...

Almost done. Splashing next weekend.
Motor on and wired up.
Lockable hatch rings installed. Very, very happy with the quality of this hardware.
All that’s left is a little touch up, caulking in the grab bar and the forward casting platform.
Jeff also sent me a sample of nice looking rub rail, will probably go with it.
We pulled “Bare Bones” out into the light for the first time today. :D

Haven't been on the forum much lately, but just have to compliment you on such a beautiful build. Better get to the boat ramp very early, and very dark, because you'll have a hard time getting away from the dock with all the gawkers coming over to talk and check it out. Will you be putting a poling platform on the boat at some point? Now lets see some fish pics posted. Well done Richard. I'm looking forward to seeing you and the boat at our next get together. Mike
