If you go to boatdesign.net; they will direct you to the proper area for stiffeners, ISO, etc. crash bulkheads, terminating stiffeners early.....
Where is the build?
Certain countries are very sticky for this stuff.
In the US, guys just like to pretend we are heavily regulated. We ain't. Maybe production boats a bit more.
I am sure I will stiffen some spots.
Keep in mind a vac bagged foam part is designed to tolerate movement. A foam boat is not built as a brick.

Well, we missed an October deadline for the beam sockets. But part of that was scope change.
We have the deck shoes mounted.
We have a good start on the transom steps on both hulls.
My legs are not happy with me.
Thank God for the wee bit of pain killers I use.
This is how we attached the deck shoes. Star hull Porto Transom knees

That is an impressive build. I can appreciate what it takes to do it.
I've been down most of the week in with pain my back. I even missed work Wednesday.
Stayed on muscle relaxers and pain management routines to get back yesterday.
It truly sucks when the body fails the desire of the mind. Praying for you Friend.

Am I seeing things correct and there is no glass on the middle sections of the transom knees? And if so will you cover that area with glass?

No, they are sandwich panels. Spec was 600g both sides. I used 800g leftovers. The tapes are 3x600 at 6".
I will be cutting a hole in the vertical bulkhead in between the knees (ha ha!) for access to mount the engines. So, I will also add an 8" tape to the intersection between the knees and the motorwell top. Richard specified flanges, but the 8" tape on each side will be fine along with cabosil all around and tapes on top of the motorwell.
My apologies for the Freudian remarks; still giggling.

Re: Woods Skoota 32DM
Things turn green when you start adding more and more glass except I used some green foam for the deck shoes because it was hand work and some of my green panels did not have holes.
It might be the mat glass that is going green or perhaps just hand laminating. My vac bag work is always yellow unless it is mat glass.
Nothing on the boat is not glassed except the cleats and some of them are glassed underneath to the boat.
Not sure if I should tape the motorwell cleats. Lot going on there. Tapes on top, cleats all around, knees, 8" tapes on the knee insides.. waddyuthink Fuzz?

Today we filleted and glued the inside of the star hull between BH1&2 and 2&3. Cabin area.
We messed around developing a torque spec for the beam straps. Settling on 20ftlbs to start.
Pic of the tape work sucks. I will do a video next week.

I will add cleats to the knees, if nothing else it will enlarge your 'glue area' for the motor well cover. Adding tape will strengthen the I-beam effect the cleats have. Might be a bit difficult to fillet and tape - yeah, I'll do it.
Looks good
