Re: De25 build
About the 12mm bottom: did it take the shape easily? I am thinking of the bow mostly, the middle and stern are flat. I would have used 12 mm but it was at the limit of the max. bending radius at the bow.
BTW, since you are Dutch, I suppose you use Bruynzeel?
PS: I remember the Biesbosch area, very nice except .

The 12 mm didn’t shape easy at all.. I pulled the sheets a little bit more together every day.
It took about a week to get them together.
Had to use tyraps 12 mm 1000nm; 100kg. The lighter ones simply broke. At the end it was okay but during bending i was afraid that the plywood would crack.
But because of the added length i wanted a thicker bottom.
Allthough I work at Bruynzeel ( unfortunatily not the plywood division) and i still can get a good discount it was cheaper to use Joubert ocoume marine plywood. good quality as well.

Please post lots of pictures as you go. I love the DE-25 design. In many ways I think it fits my area better than any of the others here.

This is looking forward into the enclosed motor well.
On the right ( next to where the motor is coming) is an opening. This opening will lead to a door In the transom. So there will be an easy acces to the swimplatform.
Floor in this area is about the same height as the height of the outboard.
Excuse my pore english: don’t know all the words to explain exactly
