Re: OB 15
Great boating report and rescue! Boat looks great on the water!
"that it isn't just an ordinary sort of boat. Sometimes it's a Boat, and sometimes it's more of an Accident. It all depends." "Depends on what?" "On whether I'm on the top of it or underneath it."

Re: OB 15
Hope everyone had a great holiday week. I sure did. I spent the weekend with the family using the OB for fishing and exploring. On Thursday we went from Melbourne FL. south to Malabar and visited a few spoil islands. The fishing in the Indian River wasn't that good. I have tried several times fishing in the Indian River and haven't had any luck, maybe I don't know what I'm doing . Friday we trailer the boat to a ramp in Gibsonton, Tampa Bay. Tampa Bay never disappoint in fishing. The bait fish was plentiful. We crossed the bay and caught Snappers under a bridge, then ran to the south side of the bay looking for grouper. Didn't catch one but the wife lost all her line and I fought something for 20 minutes until my line snapped. The following day we fish the flats south of the Manatee River. The sea trout were fun to catch.
The OB has been a great little boat to us. It feels safe for such a small boat, it actually feels bigger than a 15 foot boat. The 30 hp motor is a great pair for the hull. I cruise at 4500 rpm which gives me a speed in the low 20. That is the speed the boat seems to like and gives the most comfortable ride. I used most of the 12 gallons of gas in all the weekend, used over 3/4 of the tank between 9 and 10 gallons. The boat has great fuel economy. We are really enjoying the OB.

Awesome report! The trout are ridiculous in the southern part of the bay. May next year...
