OB 15

Post by Rtorres2411 »

Hello
A week ago took a trip to Vero Beach and got a nice tour of BBC and picked up materials to start building. Met Jeff and Reid, they were helpful and gave me great tips. Got to see a build in progress and a finished boat.
I have started the building of a OB 15. I will post pictures as soon as I figure out how to post them.

Welcome to the forum and hope you learn how to post pictures because we all like to look at pictures.

Here starts the pictures. I used cardboard half section molds and was able to get 3 molds plus bow mold out of one sheet of particle board.

Strongback built on wheels for easy movement once the hull is done.

Nice looking already! If the wheel you can see in the last picture is on the strong back it looks like you are ready to take the build off-road if need be!

Awesome boat! I built one back in 2006. Very light. It will be fun.
