Thanks Jeff and Dave! In the middle of taping frames and gluing cleats, I've also been working on the small grab bar console/coffin box

I decided to make a mold to build the hatch gutter out of fiberglass. Cloth "remnants" from the hull lamination were used to lay it up

Got the gutter trial fit and glued into place with yet another high tech clamp system.

Trimmed the excess and ready to move on

This post brings me up to date. The weather has been too cold lately to get a good pour of foam, so I decided to switch gears and paint the exterior of the hull. Took it to a friends shop that's big enough for a makeshift paint booth. After a final coat of primer and sanding, we got on the finish coat. It will be back on the trailer and headed home tomorrow so I can get back to the interior.

The photos of the painted hull in the makeshift paint booth didn't do it justice, so I took some when I got the boat back home and onto the strong back. Really excited with how it came out.

A little more progress on the console. I made the top/dash out of teak and started working on the hatch cover.

First coat of epoxy on the teak. Final finish coats will be spar varnish
