I have one of those that is about ten years old. It is the carbed motor. It has been very good. I have the 7 inch pitch prop and can go about 5 at half throttle. Maybe seven wide open. That is pushing a 22 foot boat with an all up weight of around 6 thousand.

Yeah that really came out about perfect, I think. There is something really relaxing about boats at displacement speed. No, you can't hurtle from spot to spot...but once you get into the vibe of it, I find it very calming.

That's a great little machine, you really nailed it.
I designed my own boat. This is the build thread:

Update!

The boat is still getting used often. A little bit of fishing and a lot of just cruising and hanging out. The only modification i have made recently is a monster 4bow Bimini Top, for $120 on Amazon I am super happy with it. It covers the entire rear cockpit and makes it enjoyable to be out on the water even when it is 95*+

You can also see the small swim steps I built from Mahogany. The big foam lily-pad is an awesome toy and great for lounging around on.

These are fun boats. Had a son and grandchildren out a week ago and they had a blast. Very safe and comfortable boat. A few nicks on the prop on mine as well. Just happy to be using it. I really like what you've done with the boat. Thanks for the bimini top photos.
