I'm not too worried about self bailing in my C17 either. Nice to have in a boat that size but not easy. I have massive scupper holes out the back, and it will have plenty of buoyancy strategically placed.

I will be running it some ways offshore, but it will not sit at a dock much.

I didn't put selfbailing on my c17

I was able to start on a center console wit some of the scrap wood

Got a lil more work done while this storm passed managed to add a seat to the center console and glue the Chine and lower panels also marked my spots for molds with 2x4's and partially mount the transom and drilled holes for motor to be filled and drilled again just need ups to bring the resin to butt block the bottom and glue the upper panels
