Stenciled on the name on my GF16

I bought a custom stencil off the internet and named the boat. I also used blue (14 day) painters tape to make a "speed" stripe. Both worked very well. And I am happy with the results. I went to a local boat store and bought a pint of imeron topside paint: fire red, four coats with light 320 sanding between coats. The stencil set was wonderful and the company has around 50 different fonts to choose from and you could make them in any size as you wanted. I went with 5" letters. It ended up being around 22" long. If there is any interest in where I got the stencils and with JM's permision, I will post the site. Two stencils cost 16 bucks total.

Now after a trip to South Dakota for my 20th HS reunion, I will be able to give it the old sink or swin test.
