A few pics of my time hanging out with Jaysen and my first solo sail tracks. Also my first night sleeping onboard- it was a very rewarding experience. Big thank you to Jaysen for his hospitality and nuggets of sailing instruction- he knows his stuff- also a few pics of Jaysen at the helm during a quick sail

Fuzz, you see how we dress for cold days down here? This is how it SHOULD BE.

Fuzz wrote: Thu Oct 01, 2020 12:01 am You are going boating with Jaysen? This has got to be interesting, bring lots of rum
Jaysen just bought a gallon of rum. Scott is doomed. Doooooommmmmed.
Don’t believe his bluster- I saw him drink one beer and one mixed drink- trust me, he’s a tease
Now just hold up there... I was working two of those days. And I had company to host (no one wants a sloppy host). We didn't get that long overnight sail we planned to take. I had some plans for that!

And for the record, we did break open the gallon of rum. We just fell asleep before we got to make a second drink!
My already completed 'Lil Bit'. A Martens Goosen V12 set up to sail me to the fishing holes.
Currently working on making a Helms 24 our coastal cruiser.

To be honest I’m glad we didn’t get polluted 😀

Just to be transparent, it is a neighbor's dock. They have provided us (Mrs, me, folks that associate with me) unrestricted access to their facilities when they are not here (they are here about 2wk/yr) in exchange for us sending them pics and keeping the vermin at bay. It's a fair deal in my opinion. I think Bogie agrees. :)
