Oh yeah! Now that is a good looking boat!!

Great stuff Bogie!!!! Jeff
Re: AD16 Myrtle Beach
Thanks fellas!
So tomorrow I’m back to working on the rigging (it poured today and kept me grounded) and I think I’ve got it all figured out now. I’m so close to “sailing her” for the first time that I’m checking the tidal charts and marine forecasts

Thanks fellas!!
So today made official : Tipsy is finished!
Today I worked out all of the kinks with the rigging and sail and got her ready to go. I also installed 300+ lbs of lead ballast under the cabin sole. One of the pieces was 100 pounds and I muscled it up and in all by myself Anyway, I took a bunch of pics of the sail and rigging for future builder reference.
So the next step is to motor her out through the inlet-past the jetties and into the ocean. If the marine forecast for Sunday is good we will do it then.
I would like to take a moment to thank Jacques for designing this awesome boat and sail -also a BIG thank you to Jeff and Reid . And last but certainly not least thank you to all of the good folks here on the forum. I received so much help , wise counsel and encouragement throughout the build and it was greatly appreciated. Building tipsy over the course of the past two years has been an enriching experience I will never forget. I am so excited to begin my adventures with her.

Re: AD16 Myrtle Beach
Bogie,
I'm not clear on where that cleat is but I see it's right next to the end of an eye-bolt. Yer gonna bark your knuckles on that, I reckon, which will lead to the use of language on the boat not consistent with propriety.
Either saw off the end of the bolt and file it down or at the very least put an acorn nut on it. A better solution is to skip the eye-bolt, which is more of a hardware store item, and attach a padeye by using rivets. When a lot of tension is put on eye bolts, they will compress the other side of the extrusion, which will mean they will create a clearance which will lead to their coming loose and failing.
My two cents you didn't ask for, for free!!
