FS14 dual console

Post by myllymaa »

Hi,

I've been building the hull of My FS14 half a year now. And half of that just waiting for the winter to go away. I'm building the boat on Finland.

First mods that I've made was to move rear seat frame Back almost one foot, 27cm. And I cut the stringers to be narrower, so that I can add sole on top of them.
On the picture I've added some extra frames under The sole and gluing of cleats is ongoing.
Adding frames
Adding frames
Design of the dual consoles is my next problem to solve.

Cheers from Finland,
Marko

Back of the floor is now glued in place.
Frame of the original front deck is now just for the front bench. And I created new frame for the smaller front deck.

Good progress in one weekend.
I'm building the boat in my parents in law's place, 2,5 hours drive from my place. So, I cannot work on the boat as often as I would like.

Just bought an outboard for my boat. Mariner 20hp, 2-stroke, 2001 and with electric starter. Came with remote control and 25 liters portable tank. I'm happy about The motor. :)

Hi,

During the weekend I made a small introduction video about my dual console FS 14 build. Sadly I made it in Finnish. But I added English subtitles on youtube. Here's the video:

Best regards,
