Have you decided on a location for the live well yet?
Re: fs14_ls in the midwest
Thanks! And I plan on it! My plan is to try and put it in the center at the back just in front of the bilge compartment going to figure all that out once I get her flipped over I planned on getting everything cut last night but ended up spending the night in the er with my woman

Hope all is well with her, and I can’t wait to see your boat pics once you get her back on her feet and able to work on the boat.

Re: fs14_ls in the midwest
Just got back to grinding on my boat, took time to build my son who is turning 16 next month a mini truck.
Finally epoxied down the decks and got the battery mount and gas tank mounts done as well as some painting. I decided to round over all of the top edges versus more squared off. I did find that a belt sander with 120 grit and a careful eye work really well for fairing the hull quickly.

So I take it you have one? How does it handle in the water? And what size motor are you running?
Re: fs14_ls in the midwest
Hey guys haven’t started my build thread yet but I’m making progress on my fs14-ls! I’m in the fairing process have my hull fiberglassed and I’m wondering if I should add strakes/chimes down the bottom of my hull?? Gonna be a high speed boat and I want to help with sliding while turning.

Re: fs14_ls in the midwest
I had a 6 hp on mine and it would slide in turns without a skeg, so definitely add one if you plan on going fast.
