Attaching sides to Mid Seat Frames - GF 16

Post by johnnemo »

I tried attaching the sides today and when I follow the plans and attach the sides on a level surface I found that the mid-seat frame I am attaching the sides to is 1/8" to 1/4" lower than the side panel. I guess this is because the side panel is angled and does not rest completely flush with the floor. Should I use a popsicle stick (flat on the floor) to raise the height of the mid seat frames even with the sides, or am I over thinking this whole thing and it really won't matter? :help:

Yep. Stick a popsicle stick in it, if it makes you feel better, or fill the gap with epoxy. 1/4" is nothing to worry about 8)
