Looking at the plans and pictures it is a much bigger boat than my strip canoes, which two guys can stand in. Now of course that depends on the two guys and how much beer is missing from the cooler....

Exactly. During the test of the very first FS13, the builder (Jeff) and one of his friend were somewhat stable and things looked fine. One hour later, a six pack of beer was gone and they flipped the boat.

Finishing up a refurb of a cedar strip canoe a friend made over 20 years ago, but itching to start cutting the wood out. Realized I was missing a very important ingredient for the work ahead, so have 5 gallons of Boat Building Beer chugging away in the pantry. The OD18 resulted in a repeatable and stable ratio throughout the 1.5 years of building ... 5 gallons of home brewed beer: 1 gallon epoxy used in build. I used 22.5 gallons of epoxy on Clara :help:

I don't believe you.
This was good beer and an unopened bottle would not last long with me.
Or you may have much more self control than I have.

It's true. Craig gave me hell when he was here last and saw it on my bookshelf. He said that beer is not like wine, it doesn't get better with time  I reckon it's about 6 or 7 years old now.

April 2008. The thought that a bottle of ethanol could survive on Cracker's shelve for 8 years is hard to fathom. I'm trying to convince Pattie to print new labels, and if so we will have to open that 8 year old bottle and give you a replacement.

Another 5-6 days in the fermenter, and then two weeks in the bottles, I see saw dust flying by the end of the month.

Have you got enough BBB in the next batch, to have me swing by and pick up a bottle? How far are you from Bradenton? :) My epoxy to BBB ratio is WAY off!
