Re: C19 build.....stringer issues

Yes but why did they move?
What is the distance as measured on D210/5, from the corner of the transom to the next frame.
Just that one but measured exactly as on the plans from inside corner of transom to forward side of the notch.
And please state your location in your profile, I don't know if we have to talk metric or inches.

It's 23 5/8 I'm in Trinidad and Tobago my plans are in inches. I think I'll have to re check my measurements...

OK, that one is correct.
That means the stringers are too short but why since the location of the notches must be taken from the same drawing?
I deliberately do not show dimensions for the notches because I want the builder to take them from the bulkhead spacing. The dimensions are only in one place, I don't know how this happened but we"ll fix it.
It is important to have all the bulkheads in the proper place within 1/4".
Check all other distances between frames and if they are correct, we will add a filler at the transom.

If all the bulkhead spacing is correct, I would not bother with the notches. I would extend the stringers or add a layer of plywood to the lower part of the transom.

So this is the bow part of one of my bottom hull panels, can anyone verify my scribing before I cut? It looks a little drastic!!

Don't cut! Something is wrong, it does not look at all my plans.

This one is in metric but the idea is always the same.
All dimensions are take from the baseline, from the edge pf the plywood sheet.
I don't know where that edge is in your picture.
The method is described in our Stitch and Glue 101: you draw vertical lines every 12 or 244" (see your plans) and mar 2 points along those lines, one for each side always measured from the same baseline, the edge of the plywood.
At the end, the last point is not at 12" but at the distance show as 213 in this example. In inches, it is at 8-3/8 from the last vertical. Then you go up 300 (11-3/4" in US) and mark a point, that is the tip.
You have like a weird side where it should be a point.
