This is the top edge I'm talking about. Does it need to be glassed it's already resin saturated.

The top of the transom takes a beating. In my opinion overlapping the glass over the top would be prudent.

I got my hands on some carboguard 635, it's an industrial epoxy primer. Anyone have experience with this stuff? I'm thinking of using as a primer on sides and inside. How easy I'd it to sand?
