What's a good medium between the FS14LS and the FS17? I like the width and size of the FS14LS I would just prefer something a little longer! Then the FS17 is a good leangth but 7' wide is a little too big... Right now I'm on the verge of buying the FS14LS but I still would prefer something a tad longer! What are your suggestions?

Seems like you should take a look at the flats stalker 18 (FS18). It might be closer to what you have in mind.

You might also consider the low shear FS17 option. It would be noticeably narrower than 7'. This hull has a lot of flare so reducing the freeboard has an effect on the beam at the same time. The boat's waterline max. beam is less than 6' looking at my boat sitting on the trailer.

Yes, the plans includes the 3 versions.
Right now "my drafter" is redrawing the FS17 plans and adding some details.
I can guarantee that the low sheer version is in there because we worked on it today.
When that is done, we may raise the price of the plans a little bit. By them now and we will give you the update for free.

So does the low sheer version sit a little lower, more like a flats boat? The reason I ask is because I'm wanting a bass boat that doubles as a shallow duck boat, the inly problem I have been coming across is that most bass boats are too wide and not designed for the more shallow water, I like the sound of this FS17 low sheer, it's just tough not being able to see it, I do like 6'7" though, so this may be the one!

So to add to that, will I be able to have a decent size front deck for me to work a trolling motor and bass fish off of as well as a decent back deck for my partner to fish off of as well? By the looks of it, this boat is pretty versatile with the way the inside is designed. So I should also have a decent gap in the middle to duck hunt out of, as long ass the low sheer version sits lower and is set up a little more flat and narrower, then that boat should do the trick.
