Respectfully, you are incorrect. Please reread what I suggested then double check the facts you cite.
My already completed 'Lil Bit'. A Martens Goosen V12 set up to sail me to the fishing holes.
Currently working on making a Helms 24 our coastal cruiser.

the thickness of the wood is 45mm in the bow, the deck part is 15mm, the steel plate is 5mmz7mm
