FS14 Keel Skigg Do I need it?

Capt I would put it on. It will help you from drifting in turns and will help maintain straight line cruising.

No. Just wanted to see your ob setup and transom. I had the same problem with my 15.4 NMZ Gheenoe when turning. I had the ob tilted back to much and was using a foil. I had to install a riser (not a jackplate) to go up 2". Transom was 15", my ob was a short shaft at 17"! There was too much moter under the boat!

I'll see how my setup works out, if not I'll add a skigg/keel. I'm too far into the fairing to add now. Need to get boat wet and get some tight lines!
