I tossed the old 2 smoke on her and am currently trying to button everything up. She'll get wet sometime this week or weekend... I ordered my decals for my Fl registration numbers from a local friends company. hoping they get here quick as mr. green jeans has been in the area quite frequently...

I bet you can hardly wait to give her a try. It will be interesting to see how she runs with that motor.

Nice looking build! I like the anchoring system, that’s very cool!
I’ve seen a bare bones Billy boat run pretty good with a 40.
Does the temporary motor’s propeller have some cup?

Thanks guys, the anchoring system is a chassahowitzka special, it allows me to drop the front anchor without running behind my clients. it will work until i can afford a couple minkota talons. I have a pile of props to try out, so finding one that will work shouldn't be hard. i had the same motor on my 24 foot wood on frame skiff and it would plane it to about 23 mph. 8)

I got the boat down to the river this morning for her first trip. It was foggy, cold, and the rain was just passing. The boat did great, the motor ran good but I could only get 15.5 knts out of the prop I had . it just wouldn't turn enough rpm's to really get going. I didn't try swapping any props out as it was just too nasty out. I couldn't be more happy with the build, it will be getting a larger motor in the very near future 8) . I also need to build some type of seat for the back deck when im running the tiller. my back is killing me lol. We had a great day on the water with my mom and my buddy. We got the boat slimed, and a few fish for diner...

Thanks everyone for all the help, and for sticking around for the build and all the awesome guys at BBC!
