Oh boy, a chance to spend somebody else’s money
Re: Port A XF 20
About weights: try to keep the LCG (center of gravity) at about 90" forward of the transom.

Re: Port A XF 20
I'm rehabbing an old house by the Fulton Mansion and when finished, sometime this year, I want to build a flats boat. Would love to see your XF 20.
Please PM me if this is possible. Jack

In response to Jack and any others a great chance for some in your face and hands on will be Port Aransas Wooden boat show April 24-26. Sign up to be part of the family boat build (only a few positions left) . Just come and watch look and listen. Tutorials by several builders. Some product exhibits. Jeff and gang at BBC is one of our sponsors. Thanks again Jeff! We also have static and on the water displays of homemade boats. I know of one XF20 that will be on display. It won’t be finished but will be in the home stretch. Contact Port Aransas Wooden Boat show, Farley Boat Works, Port Aransas Preservation and Historical Association or message me.

Dougster is one of the Professors for the event at the boat build. This is a fun and rewarding experience!
Re: Port A XF 20
I will say, to those who are considering coming, watching Dr. Pete work belt sander is a show in itself. It's a force of nature thing.
